Planned Giving

Your Legacy Lives On When You Change Lives

Gift plans can create opportunities for you, the donor, as well as for the Sigil Social Foundation. Recognizing that this is a sensitive topic that deserves care and consideration, there are many ways that you can plan your estate to continue your legacy, such as:

  • Bequesting, which means you can provide now for a future gift to the Sigil Social Foundation by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust.
  • You name the Sigil Social Foundation as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified plan. Any residual left in your plan passes to American Red Cross tax-free.
  • You transfer ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy to the Sigil Social Foundation. Sigil elects to withdraw the policy now or to keep the policy and receive the death benefit later.

Planned giving is a powerful way to help survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking. Now is the time to begin planning for your legacy and how people will remember you.
