Your Legacy Lives On When You Change Lives
Gift plans can create opportunities for you, the donor, as well as for the Sigil Social Foundation. Recognizing that this is a sensitive topic that deserves care and consideration, there are many ways that you can plan your estate to continue your legacy, such as:
- Bequesting, which means you can provide now for a future gift to the Sigil Social Foundation by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust.
- You name the Sigil Social Foundation as the beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified plan. Any residual left in your plan passes to American Red Cross tax-free.
- You transfer ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy to the Sigil Social Foundation. Sigil elects to withdraw the policy now or to keep the policy and receive the death benefit later.
Planned giving is a powerful way to help survivors of domestic abuse and human trafficking. Now is the time to begin planning for your legacy and how people will remember you.
