About

sigilsfsquarelogoOur Mission:
The Sigil Social Foundation was created to help further humanity through love and understanding of the human condition.

Our Purpose:
To enhance the well-being of families and individuals by providing emotional support, encouragement, through education and coaching, and with tools that can assist with coping in a healthy daily lifestyle. We are a behavioral health counseling service serving the Temecula, Murrieta, Wildomar, Vista, and surrounding areas. We are the very first major organization in our area to offer a sliding scale and have Medi-cal for lower income families. Sigil is a behavioral health resource for years to come. Click here to find out about our wonderful staff. Sigil is also the developer of a first-of-its-kind long-term program for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors with the highest success rate in the world in helping clients escape and rebuild their lives.

Our Values:

  • Honest communication
  • Resiliency and wellness
  • Acceptance and Understanding
  • Determination and Perserverance
  • Safe and compassionate relationships

Sigil’s Laws of Happiness:

  • I live at my own cause, because I am in charge of my results.
  • Every situation is a learning situation.
  • I am flexible.
  • There is no such thing as failure, only feedback.
  • People are not their behaviors.
  • I am in charge of my own mind and reactions.
  • I am resourceful and have the resources I need now.
  • Communication’s meaning is only the response I receive.

Our Vision:

We are fundraising to build a long-term safe house for domestic abuse families, family members, and slave trafficking victims to escape and recover so that they can learn to love themselves. Using an extensive legal team and therapists with a powerful new curriculum and understanding, we have created the options that we wish were available to us during our times of need. Sigil is the only long-term answer to the  problem of domestic abuse. Sigil is a leader in the recovery and wellness community, with the resiliency and multi-cultural integration that our diverse population deserves.

We are currently fundraising to build or obtain a safehouse in Temecula as well as a rehab/training facility to teach people getting out of domestic abuse situations how to end the cycle and have great relationships.

The Sigil Social Foundation proudly sponsors any and all events that donate to it directly. Workshops listed here are run by the Clinical Standard and donate a significant portion to Sigil, courtesy of our main donators Nate Fowler and Jay Williams. A very big thank you goes to them.

There are three stages to what Sigil will accomplish:

Stage one is the fundraising stage, building upon the work that exists in the community and adding to it by giving our time and effort. We are organizing as much as possible so that there is, at last, an answer with long term effects in people’s lives in terms of domestic abuse.

Stage two is the building stage, creating facilities and workshops with volunteers and donations organized in stage one. Other than the workshops we already do, this is when we see the fruits of our labor actually start to make a difference.

Stage three is the growth stage, tying everything together in one big package, making our facilities open to other non-profits and creating bonds and growth throughout the community by those volunteering and those affected. This is how we build Sigil into a national movement. With your help, we can finally give people the solutions they desperately need.

Our History:

The Sigil Social Foundation is a non-profit behavioral health counseling center with a domestic abuse and human trafficking counseling program unrivaled by its success. Opening its doors as the first major foundation that accepted Medi-Cal in Temecula was the first step to welcoming an extremely underserved part of our community. Low income and lack of insurance were our first challenges to take on in the community and hundreds of moms, dads, husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, teenagers, and children are very grateful we did.

With eight years of research with a research group spanning the world, an extensive legal team, doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists built a powerful new curriculum and understanding when it comes to domestic abuse and human trafficking, we have created the options that we wish were available to us during our times of need. Sigil is the only long-term answer to the problem of domestic abuse and human trafficking because our rate of recovery is ten times higher than anyone else in the world. We are fundraising to build a long-term safe house for domestic abuse families, family members, and human trafficking victims to escape and recover so that they can learn to love themselves.

Because of this, Sigil is a leader in the recovery and wellness community, with the resiliency and multi-cultural integration that our diverse population deserves.

Over the past two years, we have worked with many other organizations in the area, including the Temecula Chamber, Valley Young Professionals, the City of Temecula, S.M.U.R.F., and Mission of Hope, combining efforts and resources such as offering free or low-cost counseling, coaching, therapy, and psychiatry. We’ve created support groups for those in need within our community like, The Rape/Sexual Assault Support Group (RSASG). Through our life-coaches and Masters in Social Work volunteers, we’ve arranged scholarships for local people in need, donated essential supplies like toiletries, helped arrange jobs which are now careers, and have bolstered the community with over a dozen paying jobs for therapists.
